Happily Everton After
It's our turn to be that annoying couple and post all of our bridals/groomals... but how could we not? It's a once in a lifetime experience and having our friend's and family's support and love makes it that much better!
It is so exciting being married and having these pictures. Our photographer, Dave Jaffa is the most amazing guy! We seriously had so much fun taking these photos! Not to be biased but he is one of the most talented photographers.
We drove up to park city to take these beauties and boy did it pay off! We were supposed to take our groomals a few weeks ago but I had the worst cold and had to cancel... clearly it was meant to be. The fall leaves are to die for!
We decided to be traditional and not take our groomals before the wedding. We wanted the romantic element of surprise of walking down the aisle to be the first view in our wedding attire.
Enjoy!

Wedding Festivities
The best day of our lives was the shortest day of our lives. We are so sad that it has passed but so happy to have these beautiful photographs to capture the moments of that day.
Zach and I got married on August 15, 2014 at Sleepy Ridge. It was a beautiful destination. All of our friends and family joined us as we sealed the deal!
The day started off by Zach playing golf at Sleepy Ridge with his groomsmen. I slept at my dad's house with my best friend (maid of honor) Sarah. I awoke to her bringing me a bunch of fruit for breakfast. I seriously could not have asked for a better best friend. I have known Sarah since first grade; we have been inseparable since!
After we chowed down on some breakfast, my dad drove us to Sleepy Ridge to set up the decorations and to get ready for the big day! My family from Washington helped as well as a few friends and my amazing mother in law, Laura! (We have a special love for Sam Smith- hence why I walked down the aisle to the acoustic version of Latch; another amazing decision!)
After that we rushed home so that we could take showers and to get last minute decorations. We left to go to Sleepy Ridge for a second time; what we thought would take us 20-25 minutes almost took an hour and a half! Traffic was horrible; I thought I would be late to my own wedding! As to my dismay, as I arrived to Sleepy Ridge to get ready I realized that my mom was stuck in traffic with my dress! It was a little stressful I must say but I thought of the bigger picture... I would walk down the aisle in sweatpants just to be able to marry the man of my dreams. The dress, the earrings, the shoes, they are all a beautiful part of the day; but that is not what makes the day beautiful.
I arrived to a room full of my closest friends (bridesmaids) in a beautiful bridal room with a gorgeous bay window and chandelier. It was a perfect setting for a perfect day. Nerves were setting in but I had my best friends to make that hour the best hour leading up to the ceremony. Mindy, Kay, Sarah, Rey, Justine and Olimpia I want to thank you so much for all that you did to make our wedding day so memorable. I could not have asked for better friends!
After two years of dating, Zach and I were ready, ready to tie the knot and see what life throws at us; and to be honest, it was the best decision of our lives. We are happily married and loving every minute!
Ps: Zach says that everyone needs to live without a dishwasher for two months; don't take it for granted! hehe!
I want to thank all of our families who had to travel to get to our wedding; we are beyond lucky to have that support and love on our wedding day!
To our friends and families that came, we want to thank you! Especially to those who helped anyway that they could. It was extremely nice to have a helping hand!
As you will see below, Catie Shaw my new cousin made my cake. We wanted it to be simple and elegant and boy did she deliver!!! All of that hard work made for a GORGEOUS cake that I will never forget!
We are blessed to have parents that care so much about us. The love that they showed us on our wedding day blew us over. Nothing could get in the way of what they could do to help and we were/are still so grateful!
This is one of the biggest days of our lives and to be able to have all of that love meant the world to us. We are so grateful to have friends and family that would make that day even more special just with your presence. We love you!
